Axis fees and rules that matter

The rate is only half the cost of a banking product. These are the charges and conditions from Axis’s own product terms that most change what you actually pay or receive:

Home loan

  • Processing fee of up to 1% of the loan amount plus GST, subject to a minimum of ₹10,000.
  • No prepayment or foreclosure charges on floating-rate home loans for individual borrowers, per RBI norms.
  • Interest rate is linked to the Repo Rate (external benchmark) and resets on repo-rate revisions.
  • Maximum repayment tenure of 30 years.

Personal loan

  • Processing fee of up to 2% of the loan amount plus applicable GST.
  • Foreclosure charges of up to 5% of the principal outstanding may apply after the lock-in period.
  • Loan amounts range from ₹50,000 to ₹40,00,000 depending on eligibility.
  • Repayment tenure ranges from 12 to 84 months.

Car loan

  • Finance of up to 100% of the on-road price available for eligible customers and models.
  • Processing fee of up to ₹5,500 plus applicable GST.
  • Foreclosure charges of around 5% of the outstanding principal apply.
  • Repayment tenure of up to 8 years for new cars.

FD · 1 year

  • Minimum deposit of ₹5,000 to open a fixed deposit.
  • Senior citizens earn an additional 0.50% over the applicable card rate.
  • Premature withdrawal attracts an interest penalty of 0.50% to 1.00%.
  • Deposits are insured up to ₹5,00,000 per depositor by DICGC.

RD · 1 year

  • Minimum monthly installment of ₹500.
  • Recurring deposit tenure ranges from 6 months to 10 years.
  • Premature closure attracts an interest penalty as per the applicable slab.
  • A penalty applies for delayed payment of monthly installments.
